Introducing the all-new Epson Stylus Pro 4900

One of the hottest items at this year’s Graph Expo 2010 is the Epson Stylus Pro 4900!

The new Stylus Pro is basically an Epson Stylus Pro 4880 on steroids. The new Epson Stylus Pro 4900 Printers are twice as fast as the Stylus Pro 4880 Series and utilize the Epson UltraChrome HDR ink set. The biggest hype surrounding this product is it’s ability to execute remote proofing applications. The Epson Stylus Pro 4900 (SP4900HDR) truly allows users to expand their print applications with a 17” Printer with its use of three-level black ink technology and use of an expanded high capacity ink system. The Epson Stylus Pro 4900 Designer Edition (SP4900DES) comes bundled with EFI eXpress RIP Software, which allows users to enhance printing workflow for contract quality color & design comp applications. IT Supplies will carry the new line of Epson Stylus Pro 4900 Printers, shipments are expected in December 2010 (SP4900HDR) & January 2011 (SP4900DES) respectively, currently we are taking pre-orders for Epson’s new Stylus Pro 4900 Printers.

I am in the process of purchasing one of these Epson 4900 printers. I am wondering if the Designer Edition is worth while for me. I am a painter and muralist, and one of my goals is to be able to produce high quality prints of my paintings and murals. Please advice.

Kind regards,
