What's a Wacom?
Hi Blog Readers,
Today, I am here to talk about Wacom tablets. These tablets are fantastic for graphic design and photo-retouching. Packaged with installation software and a USB connector, they are practically ready to go out of the box. There are a few varieties available, visit our Wacom page to see which will best suit your needs. If you have questions or are unsure – please contact me at teena@itsupplies.com
I have had the pleasure of demo-ing both the Intuos4 and the Bamboo models and can safely say, they both rock! In my opinion the Intuos4 rocks a little louder, because of the advanced sensitivity and active area size – I spent three weekends cooped up with that tablet and had a blast designing. The Intuos4 would be ideal for anyone in fashion design, animation or photo-retouching.
The Wacom Bamboo however has a bonus in that it’s extremely travel-friendly; I could definitely see a student tossing this into their messenger bag with their laptop and spiral and jetting to campus. There is even a sleeve for the pen on the side of the unit. [shown below] I would recommend the Bamboo for students and professionals which travel to their clients studios often.
There is a huge amount of product info available on the Wacom website as well as product videos.
If you have a Wacom tablet of your own, let us know what you think of them - we love product feedback.
