How to create Tilt-Shift photos in Photoshop

Tilt-shift photos give the appearance of a mini model scene. This effect can be achieve by either purchasing an expensive lens or using Photoshop to create such an appearance. Here’s a great article with detailed instructions on how to create a tilt-shift appearance in your photos using Photoshop. We tried this ourselves on a photo of the Chicago skyline (above) and Soldier Field Photo (below).

Edits will only take a few minutes if you have a basic knowledge of Photoshop tools. If you’re an advanced Photoshop user different tilt effects can be obtained by replicating the instructions from different angles, or even making layering edits. Happy creative editing from IT Supplies!
