May 2, 2011 Epson introduced its newest 13” printer, the Stylus Photo R2000 Ink Jet Printer. This new printer will include the latest in printing technology & Epson UltraChrome Hi-Gloss 2 Ink. The R2000 will provide users with pro level features such as flexible media handling (including cut sheet & roll feed), CD/DVD print capable, Auto-Selecting Matte & Photo Black Inks, larger ink capacity for up to 50% more prints, MicroPiezo AMC Print Head and Wireless N Connectivity. We see the new Epson Stylus Photo R2000 as the R1900 on steroids, with beefed up printing functionality, new ink set and upgrades that will bring your photographic prints to the next level.
The Epson UltraChrome Hi-Gloss 2 Ink Set features 8 pigment-based inks, including vibrant Red and Orange Inks. This new large capacity ink set includes an enhanced gloss optimizer that will allow users to create photos with a more smooth finish. Epson UltraChrome Hi-Gloss 2 Ink is both smudge, fade & water resistant; ensuring your prints will have extended life.
