So begins our descent into the cold months. With them come freezing fingertips, cold nose syndrome and a variety of opportunities as photographers to take some pictures. Dan Goers, our in house “photog” had a chance this week to visit the local forest preserve and get some nature captures for the start of fall. His shoot marks the essence of the of autumn’s beginning, focusing on the green leaves turning to yellows and reds. There is some really quality stuff here. Over the course of the next couple months, Dan and I will be turning on efforts in shoots dedicated to nature and the changes it progresses through.

This beautiful landscape is set against some impresive blues. It’s amazing the sky is practically the same tone of blue as the water.

This last image was the most rewarding from the shoot. The tree gives off a sense of loneliness as its shedded leaves scatter across the ground, marking its only company.
